It has been 2 years since I last used an ATM card. After weeks of doing cash withdrawal, "over-the-counter" way, I found out that it's been very convenient and efficient in my part. And it's been like that up to now.
Bakit naman?
I realized that I always withdrew a fixed amount of money. If I made a transaction on a Monday, Wednesday next week na uli ang susunod. I know na hindi kapani-paniwala.
I do my banking early in the morning. I also have the withdrawal slip with me. Nakalagay na doon kung magkano ang kukunin. So, when the bank opens, all I have to do is fall in line at dahil nga maaga ako ay kalimitan una ako sa pila. Then, I'll be withdrawing an amount that is good for two weeks.
Wala akong dala ngayon.
Eh di mag-over the counter ka!!!
Di pwede
Bakit?
Sarado na ang bangko!!! Hahahaha!!!!

10 Seconds
I don't know if you can call it a gift or talent but I seemed to have the eye to see 10 seconds into the future. Not really "see" into the future but a feeling on what will happen. Maybe my compulsion to anticipate things is the reason for this ability to be developed.
So what's good in having that 10-seconds window into the future? For one, you won't have to wait long for me to answer the phone. Same goes with text and email messages. I also don't have to wait long in lines kasi may insight na ako kung alin ang mabilis. And it's rare for me to be late. Bihira kasi akong maka-encounter ng red lights. Never pati akong nasurprise sa mga surprise exams, surprise inspection at surprise party.
Sometimes, I would receive the "bewildering" looks from people during meetings. They are thinking of questions about the topic then suddenly I would discuss the answer without them asking about it. They would go like, "binabasa mo yata ang isip namin".
There's also a downside especially when the future suddenly changes. Minsan may dala akong payong kasi akala ko uulan. I overbuy and "double-buy" things. When given instructions, sometimes, I don't pay much on details. When it comes to game especially card and video games, kasunod na agad sa akin ang "walang dayaan".
Right now, I'm trying to improve it by making the 10 into 15. And do you know what will happen 10 seconds from now? Well I do ... 10 seconds from now, you'll be placing a comment about this post.

Search Cost of Love
Finding your soulmate requires you to spend time, money, and energy to find him/her. The equation for search cost is:
search cost = your attractiveness + social networking skills + search time cost + search financial cost
Attraction
Attractiveness refers to your ability to attract potential lovers. Attractive people meet potential lovers easier than less attractive people. They are approached more often and are invited to more social events. Attractiveness is more than physical appearance. Factors that influence attractiveness will be explained in, Rules of Attraction, which will be tackle in future blogs or may depend on reader's demand.
Social Networking Skills
Falling in love is a numbers game. The more people you date, the better your odds of finding your soulmate. You meet potential dates by having a large social network. Social networking skills are skills that allow you to expand and maintain friendships. Examples of social networking skills are abilities to initiate a conversion, to follow up on new friends, or to maintain existing friendships. Expanding and maintaining your social network require you to have good etiquette, good hygiene, and communication skills. More elaboration in this topic can also be made based on reader's demand
Search Time Cost
How much time do you have to search for your soulmate? Great social networking skills are worthless unless you have time to use them. You need time to maintain your existing circle of friends and extra time to expand your network to find your soulmate. That means you need to allocate time to go to clubs, bars, and other social events. Search time cost increases as your selectiveness increases. Search time cost is mathematically written as:
search time cost = free time x selectiveness
Search Financial Cost
Search financial cost is the amount of money you spend to expand and maintain existing social networks. The bigger your social network is, the more money is needed to maintain it. If you are selective, you will need a bigger social network to find your soulmate. Mathematically, search financial cost is written as:
search financial cost = social network size x selectiveness
Financial Cost to Expand and Maintain Existing Social Network Size
Expanding and maintaining your social networks require you to invest financially. That means money for buying drinks, dinner, club cover charges, association membership fees, phone bills, and gas to travel. For productive people, search time cost translates to search financial cost. You could have used the time wasted on dating to further your career.
search cost = your attractiveness + social networking skills + search time cost + search financial cost

Meaningless Precision
Recipes will usually ask for about a cup of this, a few teaspoon of that, a pinch or dash of something, five or six slices of something more and a couple drops more of something to taste. No objection on these instructions. Ok na sana kaya lang bigla kong mababasa sa baba ng recipe, 5 servings with 865 calories, 533 milligrams of sodium and 32.6 grams of fat per serving.
So what's wrong with this picture? Well, for one, those numbers are much too precise, given what went into computing them. The 5 in 865 is completely meaningless, and the 6 is also irrelevant. The 8 is the only significant number here.
It would make more sense if you'll say that each serving will have 800 to 900 calories or an estimate of 700 - 900 calories would be even better. An added benefit for having a reasonable range of numbers rather than a figure of meaningless precision is that one is not as tempted to swell the recipe and pretend that one is consuming only 865 calories.
