Patience has always been my favorite virtue. I can wait all day for nothing and still managed to have a smile in my face. And I enjoyed waiting the most when paired up with an impatient person. They curse a lot, swear a lot and speak unimaginable numbers of profanity. It's funny to me because no matter of much they blaspheme all the name of the gods, they have no really no choice but to wait.
As a waitee for a long time now, I know if I'm going to wait long. If the attendee says "Ang hintayan ay 5 pm onwards" then expect to wait for eternity. A 7 pm concert starts really means you have to wait for two hours.
Another wonderful test of patience is waiting in line. A day is not complete kapag di ka pumila. And to make your waiting in line more exciting are the line jumpers. Pag tinapik mo sya para sabihang may pila, ang sagot pa nya ay, "Are you talking to me? Kasama nya ako". Haaay!!!
But, all in all, lining up is a good thing because it teaches humility, patience and a belief that no matter how successful you are, you still have to line up one way or the other sometimes. Part na talaga ng buhay natin ang pila, the only place where anybody can be number one. In time.
And speaking of time, it's time again to wait for the comments... Hehehe....
